Rock burst is a catastrophic phenomenon that often occurs in underground rock mass engineering. In order to reveal the essence of hard roof process roadway excavation, particle discrete element method used establish model and simulate disturbance harmonic dynamic load based on analysis accident deep mine. The crack field, stress displacement kinetic energy surrounding disturbed by cyclic were analyzed, disaster mechanism impacting instability was discussed. results show that, compared with support structure under static can give full play its control function rock, will collapse lose stability large area load, ordinary supporting cannot resulting destruction failure. addition, thick due instantaneous superposition leading area. research great significance further understand deformation failure strong impact guide safe production prevent occurrence hazard
